The change of seasons, time passes without Lev coming back. People biking, hiking, planting gardens, having fun in the nice weather, feeling joyful - it all made me miss him sharply.
To think of what Lev is missing out on. The fun he won't have.
Then, it snowed. Cold, but beautiful. Kids sledding down the hill behind our house, hot chocolate, moonlit walks in the snowy street - but without Lev. Like most kids, he loved the snow. School was cancelled, and the streets were filled with peace and joy, making his absence more pronounced.
He is missing out, as are we all.
